</p><p>I’ve used the word ‘consciousness’ a million times (and I still misspell it often). But what does it actually mean? No, I am not going to give you a dictionary or almighty Wikipedia definition – because they don’t tell you anything. No one can know the meaning of love by reading about it in dictionary.</p>
<p><strong>Consciousness is conscious – energy conscious of itself – aware of itself </strong>(aware of it’s own existence). I used to think that would be all living things but recent from recent conversations with <em>Abraham</em> I learned that everything is consciousness – everything is aware of itself. Yes even the rocks, the sand grains, even your computer screen!<span id="more-826"></span></p>
<p>Their perspective might be entirely different from yours but everything is consciousness. At this point I remember reading about it in <em>Heart </em><em>Sutra</em> and <em>Diamond </em><em>Sutra</em> <em>(Remind me to write about them later)</em>.</p>
<p>Let us discuss some more properties of consciousness:</p>
<h3>It is Energy</h3>
<p>Everything is energy, everything is consciousness. This makes so much sense. The source of that energy is non-physical in nature. That means it cannot me smelled, tasted, touched, seen or heard.</p>
<h3>It is Vibrational in Nature</h3>
<p>I don’t know what you get by vibration but all energy is vibrational in nature and so is consciousness. And all vibrations are managed by the <a title="powerful Law of Attraction" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/meditation-and-the-law-of-attraction-guide">powerful Law of Attraction</a> which is constantly brining like vibrations together.</p>
<h3>It is Well-Being</h3>
<p>There is nothing as negative enegy. There is nothing called evil, just well being or resistance to it. There is a stream of well-being which flows thorough and to all that is. Those who resist it with their thoughts experience negativity and those who allow it experience well being.</p>
<p>It’s hard concept to get but so it is. I’d like to quote <em>Abraham Hicks</em> Here:</p>
<blockquote><p>“You do not look for a dark switch which you will flip and inky-misty darkness covers the room, you will not find one. There is no source of darkness – only a source of light that can be resisted.” – Abraham Hicks</p></blockquote>
<p>There is light or absence of it – no anti-light. There is well-being or absence of it – no evil.</p>
<h3>It Enjoys Physical Form</h3>
<p>Consciousness does not need to be physical form, thought it enjoys it. Physical form needs consciousness to exist. You can and in fact you do exist out of this physical form. You are not dead or alive – physical or non-physical. You are always alive and always non-physical – sometime choosing to take physical form.</p>
<p>“We are not physical beings going through <em>spiritual journey</em>; we are spiritual beings going trough physical journey.”</p>
<p>This kind of leads to another thing I want to talk about. People often talk of their souls, or consciousness as if it is different. As if it is some sort of light they carry. They think they are their body and souls keep it alive.</p>
<p><strong>Wrong! You are consciousness – <a title="your body is just a form" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/the-real-science-of-meditation">your body is just a form</a>. Your awareness is your soul. You are that which consciousness is.</strong></p>
<h3>It is Unlimited &amp; Expanding</h3>
<p>People want to think of <em>God or soul</em> as perfect, and of themselves as trying to catch-up with their perfectness. Nothing is perfect, everything is evolving and that which you call God (<em>which really the creative center of that which is you</em>) is evolving right along with you on this leading edge of thought.</p>
<p><a title="You are unlimited" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/zen-way-to-unleash-the-astonishing-power-of-pure-mind">You are unlimited</a> and you free to choose. <strong>You, as consciousness, come in physical world to experience the choices and be more. Nothing else will ever resonate with you.</strong></p>
<h2>How Feel your Unlimited Conscious Self</h2>
<p><em>Want to feel how unlimited you are?</em> Want to feel your full power? Meditation is one of the good ways I know. Though this site is full of all the techniques you can try but I am going to give you something right here so you can just read and go for it:</p>
<ol>
<li>Sit comfortably with your back straight. (Important or you will fall asleep)</li>
<li>Close your eyes (after reading the article, that is)</li>
<li>Focus on your breathing.</li>
<li>Your mind will wander off, just gently get back on breathing – don’t fight it.</li>
<li>Keep doing till 10-15 minutes. (You can set an alarm)</li>
</ol>

</p><p>You will often find people in meditation close their eyes. Why would they do that? They do that to stop looking at ‘reality’ in a way that they are looking and look at it through the eyes of God or Source which really is you.</p>
<p>It’s good in the beginning to close your eyes; but wouldn’t it be fun if we could take it beyond in day to day moments? Being that aware and being that calm most of the time? And being that observer?</p>
<p>I think it will be great fun to be an observer of life and then choose in what parts you’d like to be involved rather than just an observing.</p>
<p>Meditation gives you that choice. That’s exactly what <a href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/category/zen">Zen</a> is about – being aware, always.</p>
<p>So let’s see how you can take your meditation beyond:<span id="more-732"></span></p>
<h3>Reduce your passive meditation time</h3>
<p>Let’s admit it; we are not much active during meditation. I don’t know about you but I’d rather <a title="be in passion" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/cyclomeditation-cycling-is-meditation">be in passion</a> then in meditation. Now it’s hard to be passionate when you are feeling bored or angry or something like that.</p>
<p>So I can always do <a href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/meditation-anytime-anywhere">quick meditation</a> for 5 minutes and get in the vortex (vibrational vortex of pure positive energy) and then access passion easily. So stop prolonging those meditative moments and just use them as keys to better feeling places.</p>
<h3>Skip Your Life</h3>
<p>This one is awesome! Often we find ourselves in position where we just can’t take it. Either you are too bored or too annoyed. Now a spiritual person like you knows that it is not much fun to be dependent on outside conditions to change in order to change your emotional reaction.</p>
<p>Meditation comes in handy here. Meditation will take you into a better feeling place within minutes &#8211; from anxiety, nervousness, anger, annoyance or any sort of negative emotion to a place of <a href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/short-cut-to-ease-flow">ease &amp; flow</a>. Guess what? You have a situation where you can practice this feeling of meditation and take your control back.</p>
<p>Things will begin to change as you change the way you perceive it.</p>
<h3>Find Answers to Questions</h3>
<p>You can <a href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/finding-solutions-to-biggest-problems-with-meditation">find answers to all your questions</a> (solution to any of your problems) in meditation. You know why? Because when you ask, it is give. Always! So when you asked the questions or when you had that problem the answer and solution were there. But thanks to your observation of problem – the Law of Attraction keeps it right there.</p>
<p>Now when you go into meditation, the questions or desire is still there but there is no resistance because there is no observation of problem. So now you find the answers you were looking for.</p>
<p><a title="Ideas will flood in!" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/11-killer-tips-to-boost-creativity">Ideas will flood in!</a> Insights will shower on you, you will remember things and people that you have forgotten which can be helpful to you in many ways. Wonderful things happen and you just sit back and enjoy.</p>
<h3>Share Good Moments</h3>
<p>Find people who are near you who like meditation, and make a list of friends that would also like to meditate. Make a small group of such people and <a title="meditate together" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/meditation-buddies-overcome-meditation-boredom">meditate together</a>. This is a great way to stay inspired about meditation and see the growth it brings about.</p>
<p>Often people, especially teens, complain that these gathering turn into parties so easily. And there is nothing wrong in that, meditation is path to joy and so is party. Perhaps a <a title="party meditation" href="http://www.meditationrocks.us/go-party-and-become-a-better-meditator-more-influencing">party meditation</a>?</p>
<p>These were my ideas of taking that feeling of well-being which you experience in meditation into other aspects of your life. What are your views? Do you have ways you take it into wonderful new direction?</p>

</p><p>I think Abraham Hick are the best teacher in the whole world! I just love when they teach, I can go on and on and on and on &#8211; listening to them. They promote meditation to raise your vibration to state of allowing and let in what you wanted.</p>
<p>Let me tell you who they are(in brief) they are a group of highly-evolved non-physical teacher who teach about life and living. Their teachings are based around universal &#8216;Law of Attraction&#8217;.<span id="more-443"></span> In fact, I think they are the original teachers of the Law of Attraction &#8211; at least for me they are. They speak through Esther Hicks, who receives their messages as block of thoughts (not words) and then translate them into her native language.</p>
<p>Find more about them on <a title="Abraham Hick's website" href="http://www.abraham-hicks.com/">Abraham Hick&#8217;s website</a> and enjoy their <a title="AWESOME videos on YouTube" href="http://www.youtube.com/user/AbrahamHicks">AWESOME videos on YouTube</a>. You cannot get enough of them.</p>
<p>So here is a quote I recently received in email, I thought I&#8217;d share it with you:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Do you have to change your vibration on a particular subject in order to let it in?&#8221; No, you don&#8217;t. You could pet your pet and let it in. You could sit with your feet dangling in the bay, and let it in. </em></p>
<p><em>If it is a subject that you often think of in an attitude of resistance, it is really worthwhile reaching for some thoughts that feel better. You could launch an intention and never think about it again, and the Universe would yield it to you. </em></p>
<p><em>You don&#8217;t have to clean up your vibration relative to anything, if you can just not think about it any more. </em></p>
<p><em><strong>That&#8217;s why we teach meditation. </strong>It&#8217;s easier to teach you to have <strong>no thought</strong> than to have pure positive thought. When you quiet your mind you stop thought; when you stop thought you stop resistance; when you stop resistance&#8211;then you are in a state of allowing.</em></p>

</p><p>We know of the law of gravity that governs universe the most powerful of all such laws and the only law worth talking about is ‘The Law of Attraction’. Understanding the law of attraction gives you new eyes to see the fair world around you.</p>
<p>Before I dive into details of what Law of Attraction and Meditation do together, let me give a brief introduction to the Law of Attraction.<span id="more-365"></span></p>
<h2>The Law of Attraction</h2>
<p>The Law of Attraction Simply says:</p>
<blockquote><p>“The essence of that which is like, unto itself is drawn.” &#8211; Abraham Hicks</p></blockquote>
<p>That means all that is good attracts more good and all that is bad attracts all bad. Science approves of that in terms of gravity and will approve it further when they discover the truth behind the ‘Dark Matter’.</p>
<p>But we are talking of it at very basic level. Every thought vibrates and vibration is attractive in nature. That means, a good thought attracts another good thought (law of attraction in action) and they together attract more good thoughts and more and more and more until the reality around you begins to change. That’s simple isn’t it. So your thoughts create reality.</p>
<h2>Meditation</h2>
<p>Now a quick revision on what is meditation. Meditation is process to quiet your mind and stop thought. And when you stop thought you come to your natural state of well being and joy. Have you noticed that when you are worried thoughts are storming in your head and when you are happy your mind is mostly thoughtless?</p>
<p>That’s what happens when you think good thoughts, good thoughts come in alignment with your inner being, soul or Source energy and you align to who you really are and you thrive.</p>
<p>That’s what meditation is all about.</p>
<h2>Meditation + Law of Attraction = ?</h2>
<p>So when we meditate, we stop thought and when we stop thought – the negativity subsides and we begin to offer a vibration of well being and all that is good. And when we are offering such vibrations – Law of Attraction must bring to us all that is good.</p>
<p>So when you are meditating, you are attracting all good.</p>
<h3>No Need of Visualizations</h3>
<p>People will tell you to visualize and think good thoughts while meditating to attract stuff in your life. But you don’t need to do that. Because often when we try and think good about things that we want but they are not in our life – we start to feel bad  and we feel that they are not here – we miss them. And what we feel equals the vibration we are offering, and no matter what you visualize – if you are feeling bad about it – it’s NOT COMING TO YOU!</p>
<p>So better option is not to think anything. Because once you said you want it – it is coming to you. Universe is like a restaurant – do you go to a restaurant and say&#8230;</p>
<p><em>“I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad. I want salad.”?</em></p>
<p>No you don’t! You just say it once and you know it’s coming. Same with universe – if you ever – mind you ever – asked for it or even offered a preference towards it. Or ever appreciated it- it’s coming to you. Faster than you think! BUT what keeps it away is – keep thinking about it in negative way.</p>
<p>And when you visualize with such a feeling – you repel what you want – that’s the major draw back the movie ‘the Secret’ has on it’s viewers. They focus so much in visualization that stuff like that that people repel it away.</p>
<h2>Attract and Manifestation through Meditation</h2>
<p>So what is better is to either think positive thought, or think nothing. Both ways you are attracting it. The best way to do that is meditation. Meditate for 30 min and things you want will start coming into your experience. No visualization – not anything. Just meditate.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p><em>Meditation</em>! This experience is awesome. I don’t know why, but it comes from within (may be because of <em>The Law of Attraction</em>)<br />
<img class="photo" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3067/2281060215_0b6b58d774.jpg" alt="Experience Colourful Meditation" width="281" height="422" align="left" />When I first saw Meditation Rocks! a blog discussing new methods of meditation, I was totally fired up. I started meditation based on the methods suggested on the website. But, you’ll not believe, in my first attempt, I kept on losing my concentration (focus).<br />
Then, I waited for some time to see more methods on the website and some of them worked for me and some of them didn’t (and it’ll be the same case with you!). So I started doing the techniques which I liked, and they were amazing.</p>
<p>I was doing meditation from the last two years, but not like this. I was totally blown away by it. So, I kept doing it for some days and the results were astonishing. The state when you’re meditating just feels so good. I felt tension-free after that and I was able to concentrate on my studies too (what I wanted).<br />
And then I found the answers of many things which I never got. <em>Meditation</em> also helps in the process of The Law of Attraction. It has worked for me, and is still working!<br />
The best thing is, when you start doing it you feel very good. And feeling good is the most good thing in the Universe! That feeling good is not forced to come but comes from within. And that is the magic of meditation. It was truly awesome doing that! And that awesomeness helps us finding the true path of life which many of us try to find.</p>
<p>I had an inner nudge to discover more methods myself. So I kept on experimenting and I really got some awesome ideas! Some of them are:</p>
<ol>
<li> Meditate while you wait! This method works and saves your time and also passes the time. I started doing that, while waiting for my school bus and in the school bus as well! And you know what it really helps. Just use the simple techniques of meditation…!</li>
<li> The second one is actually there is no second one! <img src='http://www.meditationrocks.us/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':P' class='wp-smiley' />  But if I find one I’ll surely send a post to meditation rocks! rejuvenated</li>
</ol>
<p>But, in one word, meditation ROCKS!!!<br />
