Long Lost Meditation that Still Rocks!

Long Time No See, you say? Well sorry people I was in a bit of meditation.

Now that I am out and writing – I thought let’s tell you about some new changes at Meditation Rocks!

I am changing the way all of this works. Earlier – you used to get the updates 5 days a week (+/- 5 Posts) in your mail your you could just visit the website and see wassup. Well that was real good for you but all of us were missing something big – a community.

I mean, c’mon people I know so many of you and I think it’d be great for us to know each other (us as in you awesome people who are reading this). So I am changing the way things work here at Meditation Rocks! And I need your feedback, support and a bit of effort to make it work.

Meditation Rocks! Will now be more like a closed group (anyone can join but it’s gonna be more of one-on-one).

You will get one post every week in which I will share something new or oldy goldy and I want you to discuss what you think. Why? Because it matters – I know you will come up with brilliant ideas which we all will benefit from – so I want you to get talking to each other.

The format will be this:

That was my first step towards making us into a nice big community. Now, I need your ideas and feedback. How can we be a better community who talks and cares about our spiritual living?

PS: Someone suggested that we should have a forum, but I don’t think they are good. So I redesign to focus on content and interaction. Lemme know what you think.

    I understand it can be stressful, but my wife is always so angry when she’s on her period. Does meditation help mood swings? I don’t mind participating too. I already do yoga.

    I’ve tried various guided meditations that work for others. These meditations involve closing the eyes, relaxing, being guided, and seeing something at the end. I try really hard to get a good image in my head. There are many ways I could create the image and I’m not sure how I should do it (especially because I don’t want to create some BS with my imagination) and I actually feel more uncomfortable than relaxed.

    Meditation Rocks I have been at it for over 20 years. My favorite now is guided meditation CD’s from various artist. Used to be able to sit for hours just too now.

    I have meditated before but I need more depth over a sustained period of time.I’m seeing a psychologist for stress and resulting depression, and he is very supportive of a meditation retreat. He recommends 3-5 days, not the 10 day vipasanna type right now.
