Preparing to Meditate

In this guide you will find tools and resources that will help your journey to rocking life, some habits and things that every meditator must have. So read on at your leisure, but do follow them.

Some of these are free and for some you will need to pay which is not a bad thing because they are well worth it. What your will gain from them is priceless. Reading is a must have habit for every meditator –no excuse. That is why we have ‘Book A Week Club’. Well it’s not ours but we have joined it. It’s not compulsory but you can try. The very fact that you’ve reached this part of guide means that you are good at reading, go further:

Must have for Meditation

Feeling overwhelmed with the choice above? Well I’ve created a list for you of bare minimums. Though they are not really ‘must’, you can meditate without them. But I strongly recommend you have them to make your life easier.

Meditation Mat/ Cushion/ Meditation Chair

You can meditate sitting, standing or laying down but best is if you sit and please be kind to your body and get a mat or chair.

Music makes meditation so much easier and pleasing, more on this in next guide. If you have real hard time and just can’t focus and can’t get over your thoughts then Guided Meditation can really help you. More on this later.

A Book A Month

If book a week is too much for you then read a book a month – at least. That’s bare minimum or don’t think you will progress.
